The Samaritan Shelter of Pocomoke is hosting several fundraisers in November, including A Night at the Opera, featuring Brittany Lewis, on Saturday, November 5, 7pm at the MarVa Theater.  Cost is $15 per person.  Then, on November 19, 6pm at Lynnhaven Baptist Church, a pancake supper will be held.  Dinner includes pancakes, fried apples, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs & a drink.  Cost is $8 or $4 for ages 3-6.  Tickets must be purchased prior to the event at the Shelter, Enchanted Florist or Market Street Deli.

Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant product review

I recently received a FREE stick of Dove Advanced Care antiperspirant as a part of a House party Chatterbox Chatpack.  Since I was already a loyal user of Dove antiperspirant, I didn't think the Advanced Care would provide much difference.....Boy was I wrong!

Right now, we're experiencing some high temps and humidity here in Maryland, which really puts your antiperspirant to the test.  Not Dove Advanced Care!  While I would usually feel the need to reapply at least once during a hot day, I never felt this way when wearing the Advanced Care!

Another thing that set it apart from my regular Dove stick was when my daughter dropped it.  Usually, I have to throw the remainder away because it's all broken up, but I was able to stick it back in the container & go on as if nothing had happened.

The only thing that made me wary of purchasing Advanced Care in the past was the higher price compared to my regular Dove deoderant.  However, when combining a coupon and rebate app, I was able to get a stick for under $2!  It comes in a wide variety of scents, including pomegrante, coconut, cucumber and many more. I chose the coconut for myself when purchasing, but was sent the regular scent in the Chatpack.  Overall, I highly recommend this product!
