Walmart deals!

I braved the stores today with the 2 girls and a rather large stack of coupons to use. Here's just a few things that I bought and had coupons for:

Similac ready to feed formula--$3.84
Used a combination $3 and $5 coupons (bought 8)

Ivory 3 pack bar soaps--97c
Used $1 coupons (bought 5)

Reach floss--88c
Used $1 coupons (bought 5)

Kotex by U liners--$1.24
Used $1 coupons (bought 2)

Yoplait 4 pack princess yogurt--$1.78
Used FREE coupon

My total before coupons was roughly $93. After coupons it was $32! This was the first time I've had to have a CSM come to approve the transaction since there were more than $40 worth of coupons redeemed, but luckily things went smoothly.

New Walmart coupon policy

Walmart has a new coupon policy. You can go here to print it out for yourself, which I would highly suggest doing because my store had no knowledge of the new changes when I mentioned it at the Customer Service desk.

Here are some highlights:

• 1 coupon per item
• NO limit on # of coupons in a transaction
• Overage IS allowed
• Types of coupons allowed: internet printed, catalinas, manufacturer's, competitor's, soft drink caps
• Coupons NOT allowed: $x/$x or % off entire purchase, BOGO without a specified price listed, double/triple coupons, internet printed coupons for FREE items
  
• System will prompt for supervisor verification when: 40+ coupons per transaction, $50+ coupons in a single transaction, coupon valued at $20+

Hey, Walmart lady!

To the lady who I was parked next to at Walmart: That wasn't my cart you were pointing at & giving me nasty looks for leaving there. I walked mine over to the cart "garage" but I guess you didn't see it. Had I not had 2 small (& crying) children in the car waiting for my return, I would have walked that one over there as well, just because I hate it when someone leaves their cart right next to my car (yes, I am guilty of this sometimes, too).
